About
From the Producer: The North American Pony/Trainer Contest is a celebration of a Pony and Trainer or a single Pony, or a single Trainer and their enthusiasm and knowledge in the vast world of pony play. The winner(s) of this contest will go forth to share their knowledge and love of pony play through teaching and mentoring those within the leather, kink and fetish communities.

Note- this is a contest but not a leather title. Equus International Pony Play Event will be held at the Los Angeles Pony and Critter Club Pony Track and Dressage arena in Tarzana, California. Events include: Western, Draft Horse and Precision, Long Distance Cart Racing, Eventing (Dressage, Jumping, Blindfolded Obstacle Course and Working Equitation Speed Trail) and The Pony Show.
Judging Criteria
The Queens Cup will be given to the Pony that participates in a minimum of 3 of our SEVEN Pony
Play events, and accumulates the largest amount of ribbon points,
1st Place = 3
2nd Place = 2
3rd Place = 1
This is a HIGH Point Ribbon Contest. Each event shall have one or two Pony races/events that The Queen’s Cup ribbons are awarded for. This will be a derby race, a long distance cart race, a western event, and English event. Each event has its own type of race/event, and is clearly announced as The Queen’s Cup Race/Event 2025.
The prize is for the Pony. You do not need a partner nor the same Trainer for all events. As long as the Pony registers for the event, participates in whatever the Pony Play program for that event is (Example: The Long Distance Cart Race event) and competes in the Queen’s Cup Race/Event for that event, then that is all that is required.
A single Pony may ask any Los Angeles Pony and Critter Club member to take their reins at all the events. They will be at the all events as a Trainer, there to train, take reins, assist however they can, and in general, share the joy of Pony Play with participants. You may ask any Trainer attending the event you are wanting to compete in to take your reins.
Events using a cart, you may choose your own Driver.
