Contestant applications are open between November of the year prior to the intended title year early Febuary of the title year. Potential Contestants are required to fill out the form here https://seleatherfest.com/contests/as-a-contestant , to REQUEST a contestant application. 

Further, to be given consideration as a Contestant, application and suplamentary requested materials must be received prior to noon on March in late march of the title year. Speciffic dates can be found here: https://seleatherfest.com/contests/as-a-contestant.

Prior to being acceped as a contestat, persons intending to compete will speak with event staff, and will be sent only to those indicating they  intend to compete. Third party applications will not be considered.

Once being acceped as a Contestant, you must register for the event through the SELF website and all fees must be paid within two days of receiving an acceptance letter with registration code.

SouthEast Master/slave

Open to any contestant pairing regardless of gender, ability, race, sexual orientation, or lifestyle orientation. Contestants must live a Master / slave lifestyle according to their own definition of such. This is a title which focuses on education. M/s pairs will be expected to teach and reach local/national communities. The winners will go on to compete at South Plains LeatherFest in Dallas, TX for International Master / slave.  A $200 entrance fee is required of the M/s couple.

Mr. SouthEast LeatherFest
Any person who self-identifies as male, regardless of biological sex, gender expression, ability, race, sexual orientation or lifestyle orientation may complete for the title of Mr. SouthEast LeatherFest. The winner may go on to compete at International Mr Leather. The agenda of this title is decided on by the winner.  You get to choose what is important to you and what your title year will signify. SELF supports individual interest and focus. Be you. Show us who you are! A $160 entrance fee is required of each contestant.

SouthEast LeatherFest boy
Open to all leather boys/bois, regardless of biological sex, gender expression, ability, race, sexual orientation or lifestyle orientation. Contestants for SouthEast LeatherFest boy can be male, female or gender variant. The winner may go on to compete at International Mr. Leather or another appropriate contest. The agenda of this title is decided on by the winner.  You get to choose what is important to you and what your title year will signify. SELF supports individual interest and focus. Be you. Ms. SouthEast LeatherFest
The Ms. SouthEast LeatherFest contest is open to all who self-identify as female, regardless of biological sex, gender expression, ability, race, sexual orientation or lifestyle orientation. Ms. SouthEast LeatherFest will go on to compete at International Ms Leather. The agenda of this title is decided on by the winner.  You get to choose what is important to you and what your title year will signify. SELF supports individual interest and focus. Be you. SouthEast Bootblack
The SouthEast Bootblack title is open to any contestant, regardless of biological sex, gender expression, ability, race, sexual orientation or lifestyle orientation. The SouthEast Bootblack may compete at International Mr Bootblack or International Ms Bootblack. The agenda of this title is decided on by the winner.  You get to choose what is important to you and what your title year will signify. SELF supports individual interest and focus. Be you. SouthEast Person of Leather
The SouthEast Person of Leather title is open to any contestant, regardless of biological sex, gender expression, ability, race, sexual orientation or lifestyle orientation. This title is specific to representing a leather lifestyle. Diversity within the leather lifestyle is honored and expected. The SouthEast Person of Leather must compete at the International Person of Leather Contest in Las Vegas at Sin in the City.  A $160 entrance fee is required of each contestant.
